Our 2007 Rally is a Vacation Charity JoyRide.
We are motivated to help rebuild the historic city of New Orleans by donating some proceeds to the awesome efforts of the Salvation Army of New Orleans. This tireless organization has been helping thousands of victims of hurricane Katrina put their lives in order since the city reopened. This is a win-win for everyone involved. We want to be a part of the solution in bringing people together! That's why we're building in a $1,000 per entrant donation that will be passed on to the Salvation Army for the benefit of Katrina relief. Additional values may be included such as the balance on gas cards, donations of finder fees or unused deposits.

• Course: From Santa Monica Pier, CA. to New Orleans, LA.
  
• Scope: April 20, 2007 thru April 28, 2007; 2,000 mile trek from California to Louisiana. Events include race track time, hot air ballooning, bungee jumping and much more. Local entertainment and of course, the Jazz Fest on Bourbon Street will wrap things up. That's eight days you will never forget!!!

  The cost of the run varies with the number of participents. After we have covered our fixed cost, we're passing the savings onto all participents. We already have over 20 and expect to have over 30 easily, and probably over 40. At 30 participents the cost is $11,000, that less $1,000 donation and $400 gas card nets to $9,600. At 40 participents the cost is $9,800, that less $1,000 donation and $400 gas card nets to $8,400. The run includes the following:

In Cannonball Runs, teams drive by themselves, all day long, under total stress and against the clock (and the law).
